0.3.0 Patch Notes


Version 0.3.0

The next "major" update is here!

If you want to try carrying over your save from the previous version of the game, try deleting everything in 0.3.0's "saves" folder and replacing it with everything from your older "saves" folder! It worked for me at least once. But just in case it doesn't work, I implemented something to help you. Interact with the crystal in the bottom-right corner 5 times to find the scroll for "Eliminate", an attack that will deal 100 damage to all enemies and basically instant-kill everything. Use that to breeze through all the floors you've done before, then un-equip Eliminate when you get to floor 6.

Additions and Changes:

  • Floor 6, the second bedchamber, Floor 7, and Floor 8 have been added
  • I think I fixed the offset issue with the player characters on the battle screen
  • Trinkets now have color-coded icons and a "tier" label. Tier 2 trinkets are stronger than Tier 1, etc.
  • The word "LOAD" in the Pause Menu is now capitalized.

Known Issues:

  • Wizard's portrait in battle doesn't line up with his eyes
  • All audio in the game is currently placeholder

Balance/Skill Changes:

  • Fire Breath was buffed slightly
  • The Jester's Bard class now acts earlier in the turn order.
  • The Bard's Encourage skill now heals some HP.
  • The Gambler's Roulette Skill now heals allies.
  • The Gambler's Lucky Draw Skill now costs 2 MP instead of 3 MP.
